At LOF Clutches, we work closely with our logistics partners FedEx, DHL and Royal Mail, to ensure fast, reliable, and cost-effective worldwide shipping.

1. Dispatch Times, Live Rates & Tracking  

• Trackable Shipments: Every order shipped from LOF Clutches with FedEx and DHL is fully tracked. As soon as your order is dispatched, you will receive an automated email containing your tracking link and courier details.

  • Note - Royal Mail shipments only provide a delivery attempt/success event

• Live Real-Time Rates: Freight rates are dynamically calculated at cart and checkout. This ensures you receive accurate, up-to-the-minute shipping costs based on the exact weight, size and destination of your order.

• Same-Day Dispatch: Orders placed before 3:00 PM (UK Time) on business days (Monday to Friday) are dispatched the same day, subject to stock availability. Orders placed after this time will be processed on a best-endeavours basis for same-day dispatch, or dispatched on the next working day.

• Weekend & Bank Holiday Orders: Orders placed on weekends or UK Bank Holidays will be processed on the next working day, subject to stock availability.

• We offer FREE UK Standard Shipping on all orders over £145 (excl. VAT) for Mainland UK addresses.

• Northern Ireland, Scottish Highlands & Islands: Free shipping thresholds and delivery lead times may vary for remote UK postal codes or off-mainland islands. Any applicable remote surcharges will display automatically at checkout.

3. European Union (EU) Shipping

We dispatch parcels across Europe via FedEx or DHL Express.

• Remote EU Surcharges: Deliveries to certain islands, remote zones, or specific postal codes may be subject to a carrier surcharge.

• Large / Bulk Orders: Orders exceeding 30kg or containing multiple large components will be consolidated for optimal rates. Contact us prior to ordering for custom bulk freight quotes.

Important Information for EU Customers:  

1. UK VAT Exempt at Checkout: Orders shipped to addresses outside the UK are zero-rated for UK VAT (0%). You will not be charged UK VAT at checkout.

2. Local Import VAT: Upon arrival in your destination country, local VAT (at your country’s standard rate) will be assessed and collected by our carrier before final delivery.

3. Customs Clearance Fee: The carrier may charge a nominal administrative fee (this will vary depending on the member state) for processing customs documentation on your behalf.

4. Rules of Origin (Duty Free): Because LOF manufactured products are engineered and produced in the United Kingdom, they qualify for zero preferential tariffs under the UK-EU Trade and Cooperation Agreement (TCA).

4. USA, Canada & Rest of World Shipping  

We ship to North America and internationally via FedEx or DHL Express.

*All export shipments are zero-rated for UK VAT. International customers are responsible for any local import duties, state taxes, or customs clearance fees assessed by local authorities.

If your destination country is not listed at checkout, live rates will be calculated where available. For specialist or heavy freight destinations, please contact our team with your full delivery address and part numbers for a custom shipping quote.

5. Refused Deliveries & Unpaid Customs Duties  

It is the buyer’s responsibility to pay any local import VAT, customs duties, or carrier administration fees required by their destination country.

• If a delivery is refused or returned to LOF due to unpaid local taxes/duties, incorrect address entry by the customer, or failure to arrange delivery with the carrier, LOF reserves the right to deduct:

1. 1. The cost of return freight charged by the carrier.

   2. Any customs administrative penalties incurred.

   3. Original outbound shipping charges.

• These charges will be deducted from any refund processed upon the safe return of the goods.

6. Damaged or Missing Parcels in Transit  

All shipments leaving our facility are packed securely and fully tracked.

• Protective Packaging & Outer Box Damage: We utilise extensive internal protective packaging materials to safeguard heavy automotive components during transit. As a result, external damage to outer cardboard packaging does not necessarily indicate damage to the product inside.

• Inspecting Your Package: Upon receiving your delivery, please inspect the box before signing. If the outer packaging shows severe external damage, please sign for it as "Damaged" with the courier (or refuse the delivery if severely compromised), and proceed to inspect the internal contents.

• Reporting Timeframe: Any physical damage to internal components or missing items must be reported to LOF within 48 hours of receipt, accompanied by photographs of both the outer packaging and the affected product, along with your tracking number.
