This may look like a Freelander 2 but it is actually a full FIA spaceframe with fibreglass body panels attached to it to look like one! It has been built by Pat Masters to fulfil his dream of driving (and hopefully finishing) a 1000 mile race in Baja, California.

Under the skin it uses Discovery 2 components including an Alive tuned td5 with a VNT. To handle that power it has an extreme spec LOF clutch and solid flywheel conversion. It also has dual spring fox dampers at each corner and a 170 litre fuel tank.
