Team Star- SJ Daihatsu Winch Truck

Stuart Fitzhugh and his daughter Rhiannon are Team Star, they are based in Brixworth Northamptonshire and are a returning team in 2022 having last competed in 2016 they have taken a break from competition while Rhiannon was away at college and university, during this time Stuart has been marshalling at various events, Safety Officer for the Viking 4×4 club for 4 years and latterly on the core team as winch challenge liaison for Ultra4europe.

During Covid Stuart built a new truck based on a Suzuki sj chassis, powered by a Daihatsu 2.8 engine and gearbox and Nissan Y60 axles which we intend to compete both winch challenge (Odyssey series and dragon valley) and speed races like the Welsh 150, ultra 4 winch challenge class.

They have into the Cherimont off road race in Belgium (April) and the Warn Trophy in France (June) Fécamp forest challenge in Normandy (July and November) and also plan to do the 2 truck team Valhalla challenge at Buildwas in august, ideally they are looking at doing 2 events a month throughout the season.
